Just days after Visit Atlantic City announced a popular airshow would return to A.C. this summer, The Wildwoods released the dates for its brand-new airshow over the beach.

For four hours on both September 5 and 6, 11 headlining acts will soar high above the beach, doing flyovers and performing aerobatic stunts. There will be military performers from the NJ Air National Guard, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Dover Air Force Base, the Fighter Jets Inc. MIG-17PF Jet Team, ACEMAKER Solo Aerobatic Demo in the T-33 Shooting Star, Jerry Conley in the DH-115 Vampire Jet, the US Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, the US Coast Guard, and more.

After the opening ceremony at 11:50 am, the National Anthem will kick off with an Army Golden Knights flag jump. Demos will continue through 4 pm each day.

You can find a spot on the beach for free; the best place is by Morey’s Piers, between Mariner’s Pier and Adventure Pier. Or, buy a VIP ticket to sit on special spectator benches or find a VIP viewing area at a local hotel, pier or business.

Thunder Over the Waves Airshow will take place from 12-4 pm on September 5 for a practice day and September 6 for the main event over the beaches of The Wildwoods. The show is presented by The Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA) and David Schultz Airshows.

The Visit Atlantic City Soar & Shore Festival will take place on Tuesday, July 15, and Wednesday, July 16, along the beaches of Atlantic City.
