Acting Out is more than just a summer camp—it’s a proven launchpad for young performers. The camp experience combines laughter, movement, imagination and play with structure, intention and expert guidance so that kids have the time of their lives while parents see real growth.
“Hundreds of our students have gone on to work professionally on Broadway, television and in film, and we bring that same level of training, care and professionalism to every camper, whether they’re brand-new or seasoned performers,” says Roberta Loew-Isgro, owner and creative director.

From the first rehearsal to the final curtain call, campers experience what it’s like to be in a professional production. Campers will perform in a high-quality main stage show with full staging, lighting and ensemble collaboration to build confidence while creating unforgettable memories. In the Broadway Stars Master Class, campers have the rare opportunity to learn directly from working Broadway performers to gain insider knowledge, inspiration and mentorship. “Families love that Acting Out is both professionally run and deeply nurturing—a place where kids are encouraged to take risks, express themselves and grow without pressure or judgment,” Loew-Isgro says.
Community is at the foundation of everything at Acting Out; from the very first day, campers are welcomed into an ensemble-based environment where collaboration, kindness and mutual respect are actively taught and modeled. “For families seeking a camp that combines toptier arts education with heart, warmth and real results, Acting Out is truly the place to be—and we can’t wait to welcome you into our theater family,” she says.
