The Edgewood Country Club Summer Camp provides the ultimate summer experience. Located on the beautiful grounds of the Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, the camp provides a safe, welcoming and memorable summer experience for kids ages 4-12.
Edgewood’s summer camp offers flexible half-day and full-day sessions throughout the summer, which are all led by experienced and certified counselors who remain actively engaged with campers throughout the day. Each camp day is thoughtfully planned to foster exploration, skill-building and friendships, with the goal of creating an enriching and enjoyable environment where every child feels secure and supported.
“Our staff works very hard to ensure that our campers are fully experiencing all there is to do here at Edgewood— and, ultimately, that they have the best summer of their lives,” says Marilyn Tineo, camp director. “Parents appreciate that their kids come home dirty and tired, and our only hope is that our campers enjoy their time with us as much as we enjoy experiencing the summer with them.”
Daily camp activities include tennis and swimming, including swim lessons. Specialized activities such as karate and yoga, as well as group sports like soccer, are also available, and the camp’s screen-free policy for campers and staff ensures that everyone remains engaged in daily activities and can fully enjoy the outdoor fun. “We ensure that our campers always feel comfortable to explore new sports and activities, but we don’t place limitations or expectations on them—our one-and-only expectation is that they are always happy, having fun with friends and excited to return to camp the next day,” Tineo says.
