Mother Nature brought an early Christmas gift to Mountain Creek Resort: the ski and snowboard resort is opening its winter activities early this season because of the cold temps.
Open year-round, the winter months offer lots of outdoor adventures, from skiing and snowboarding to tubing and building snowmen. This year, the resort upgraded its snowmaking abilities (for when Mother Nature doesn’t bring her own) with a new, state-of-the-art, $5 million fully automated system.
Mountain Creek’s 167 acres of winter trails have a variety of terrains that are good for everyone from beginners to pro competitors. There are four mountain peaks, nine lifts and three dedicated terrain parks. The resort has top-to-bottom terrain at both Vernon and South Peaks serviced by the Cabriolet Gondola and the South Peak Express Quad.
All skier services will be open including rentals, lessons and the restaurants. You can sit by the outdoor fire pits or indoor fireplaces to warm up.

You can buy a day pass Lift Ticket, or a Triple Play Card valid for three anytime use tickets, for $139.99; or a Season Pass starting at $339.99.
