If your kids are fans of PAW Patrol you probably have the theme song stuck in your head. Be there on the double and take them to The PAW Patrol Experience at CAMP at Garden State Plaza where they will join Ryder and his team of pups to help save the day!
Once you arrive you’ll meet with your counselor, who will give you your Mission Guide and explain the rules of the game: stay together and have lots of fun!
Using your puppy magic you’ll enter Adventure Bay through the Magic Door. Your counselor will bring you to each rescue mission, one by one, where kids can have fun as if they’re part of the show. Each area is themed per character, and teaches your kids about communication, bravery, teamwork, leadership and confidence. Your kids will learn important lessons while having the time of their lives!
After choosing their favorite adventurous K9, they will start at the lookout and then take the slide down to the construction area – be forewarned, your kids may continue to run up and slide down even though it’s time to move on. Feel free to join them as well – the experience is adult-friendly, too! No job is too big and no pup is too small so bring every fan of the show to have fun.
Next up, they’ll head to the doghouse area where they can crawl around and build towers and buildings. If they’re having too much fun, like one of our little pups, they may yell out “I’m not leaving” and hide out inside the doghouse.
We coaxed out our own little Chase by telling him to jump on Chase’s Roadway and pedal around the course. It’s important to watch for the “stop” and “go” signs from your counselors so you avoid any puppy pileups! There are different types of “vehicles” depending on the size of your child.
Watch out though – Mayor Humdinger had an accident and the fireworks display made a mess! Help your kids with a “fire hose” and spray “water” (all simulated) at the building that’s projected onto the wall. You and your child may fight over who mans the hose, it’s so much fun.

Next up, work as a team to recycle all of the cans and bottles, paper products and food (all plush) by throwing them into bins on the wall. Designed like a carnival game, this is another fun area where parents and kids can work together. Your kids will be jumping and clapping every time they make one in!
Once Adventure Bay is cleaned up, it’s time for the obstacle course where your kids will check their balance walking across water – but if they “fall in” they’ll have to swim. This is another area where your kids will love getting out their energy as they run back and forth between land and sea.
Possibly the most highly anticipated area, Skye’s Zip-line is where the whole fam can sail down the hallway (unfortunately, toward the exit). If your kids are having a really great time, they may be able to zip forwards and backwards a few times. And you can, too, since it supports the weight of an adult!
Before you leave, it’s time to take the PAW Patrol Pledge and have a dance party. Raise your paws and shake your tails as you become an official member of The PAW Patrol!
The PAW Patrol Experience is presented by CAMP, The Family Experience Company. Have fun on select dates through Feb. 20 at Westfield Garden State Plaza, 1 Garden State Plaza, Paramus. The mall is closed on Sundays. The experience is across from Eddie Bauer in the mall by the Timberland and GameStop stores; it’s best to park by the entrance near Seasons 52, then make a left in front of Macy’s. CAMP is on the left side. Tickets start at $26. You can book a birthday party as well.
