The Central New Jersey mall you already know and love just announced two exciting dining additions to its roster. Both Shake Shack and True Food Kitchen are slated to open in late 2020 and early 2021, respectively, at Menlo Park Mall in Edison.
Shake Shack is often categorized as a modern day “roadside burger stand,” and started as a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park in NYC. Take the kids for burgers, crinkle-cut fries, hot dogs, frozen custard and, of course, shakes.
True Food Kitchen is also expected to open at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack next spring. This restaurant’s all about meals made with the freshest in-season fruits and veggies. The menu’s always rotating in an effort to showcase what’s in season and best for your body (and taste buds) at any given time. The menu is based on the Anti-Inflammatory Pyramid and diet, and aims to encourage healthy eating habits. There are also plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. If you’re bringing the kids, pizza is a sure winner.
