Throw A 'Frozen' Party

Do you want to build a snowman? Here's the perfect way to throw a 'Frozen' party!

The Look

Think “Winter Wonderland” when creating a party based on the movie Frozen. (You’re familiar with this flick, right?) This means decorating with lots of blue hues, white, and sparkles for a look of frosty iridescence. Create a backdrop with large cotton snowballs, and hang paper snowflakes all over the place. Break out those clear holiday lights for a frozen glow, and, for an extra festive look, place white tree branches in vases adorned with pretty rock candies in frozen aquas and purples.

The Eats

Serve up wintry-white delights, anything from Swedish meatballs to rice balls. Don’t forget cauliflower (and Sven’s carrots) to dip in ranch dressing. White powdered doughnut holes are a nice touch, as are displays of white chocolate. And consider creating an ice cream bar! Be sure to serve a festive blue punch, and outfit water bottles to look like our favorite snowman, Olaf.

The Fun

Have the younger kids make their own marshmallow Olafs, with different sized marshmallows for the head and body, and toothpicks for arms and to hold them together. Use white frosting to “glue” on black sprinkles for the eyes and chocolate chips for the buttons, and provide edible ink pens for drawing face details. Older girls will enjoy a spa-like manicure session with glittery nail polish.

The Favors

Send your guests home with mementos of their wintry day, such as a snow globe or DIY glittery play-dough. Little princesses will love taking home their very own wands. Glittery picture frames are another option.
