Wardrobe stylist Tiffany Piñero has always had a knack for creating fun spaces. A love of home design led her to add living spaces to her resume five years ago. Piñero’s favorite project to date? A dream nursery for her daughter, Lumi.

“The whimsy, the joy, the clean slate to set the tone for a little one’s beginning is such a magical thing to work on,” says the Scotch Plains mom. “Designing our daughter’s space came together effortlessly for me. Her room is bright and energetic with a visual representation of the journey of a seed. Growth takes a long time, and sometimes you don’t always see the progress, but then one day, you’re just surrounded by beautiful blooms.”

Piñero always knew this quirky-shaped room would make a great nursery.

The outfit of the day wall is Piñero’s favorite piece in the room—it’s where Lumi’s dresses get to shine.

Piñero’s dog thinks this chair is his…and it is! Piñero had her eye on a rocker like this from a big-name furniture store, but found a look-alike for a third of the price on overstock.com.
