The Country’s Biggest Dinosaur Event is Coming Back to NJ

Plan a prehistoric visit during the winter break

JURASSIC QUEST

If you’ve been to a Jurassic Quest event, you know to expect gigantic photorealistic dinosaurs (some move and roar), dino shows, a giant fossil dig and more fun designed for your biggest little dino fans.

Jurassic Quest® will take over the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center in Edison over the holiday break (from December 27-30) and tickets are on sale. This four-day event was designed to take families on a journey through 165 million years of history, from the Triassic to the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.

JURASSIC QUEST

Visitors can get up close to lifelike dinosaurs and take part in a bunch of activities, including digging for fossils, meeting adorable baby dinos, riding on some of the giant dinosaur replicas and building their own exhibits in the LEGO zone. There are science exhibits, science stations, floor puzzles, a glow zone, dinosaur bounce houses, and even a 35-foot derby track.

JURASSIC QUEST

Organizers say Jurassic Quest works with leading paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur is replicated accurately, from coloration to teeth size, to textured skin, fur and feathers. From the largest predators to baby dinos, dinosaurs are grouped in realistic scenes with others in their eras to allow visitors to imagine what it was like when these dinos roamed Earth millions of years ago.

Jurassic Quest will be held at the New Jersey Convention & Expo Center in Edison from December 27 to 30. Hours are 12 to 8 pm on Saturday, 8 am to 8 pm on Sunday and Monday, and 9 am to 5 pm on Tuesday. Tickets are sold in different blocks of times. You can buy tickets in advance at jurassicquest.com, or on site. Ticket prices range from $22 for general admission; to $36 for Kids Ultimate Admission for kids, which includes access to dinosaur rides, the T. Wrecks Raceway, fossil digs, and dinosaur-themed inflatable attractions; or the Kids Dino-Mite Experience for $85 that adds on Fast Lanes for popular rides, a special meet-and-greet session, and VIP credentials valid for face painting and a green screen photo experience. Taxes and fees apply.
