Known for its Boardwalk-style games, bowling alley, laser tag, candy shop and more, iPlay America just added a new attraction to its list. Ballocity is a four-level structure of play that has more than 30 interactive features.
Kids are sure to spend much of their time on the Helix, TURBO and Loop slides; Dodge n’ Duck Maze; Twist n’ Tangle Rope; suspension bridge; 18 ball cannons; and multiple moonwalk climbs.
An all-new XD Dark Ride is set to open soon. The multi-sensory interactive attraction combines group play with real-time 3D graphics and an individual scoring system.
There’s lots more to explore at the four-acre indoor theme park in Freehold, including a Mini Ferris Wheel and High Flyer, two rides that opened in the past year. The kiddos can also check out other rides like the Crazy Cabs, IPA Speedway, Happy Swing, a carousel, and more.
There are arcade video games for the gamers in your crew, plus theme park favorites like Whack-a-Mole and balloon darts.
And don’t forget to play the ticket redemption games, then visit the newly renovated prize store to trade in your tickets.
If all that play works up an appetite, stop by the Game Time Bar & Grill, which has menu items for children and adults alike. There is plenty of indoor restaurant seating for families, plus another area closer to the bar.
Prior to the pandemic, iPlay America hosted concerts, chocolate festivals, WWE wrestler meet-and-greets and cover bands. Currently, the events schedule notes Dead Serious Men of War Pro Grappling Series 13 on June 4, a division of MMA (mixed martial arts). The New Jersey Sports Card Convention is planned for Sept. 16.
iPlay is a fun spot for a night out without the kids, too. Relax in the Topgolf Swing Suite or have a drink at the Game Time Bar. iPlay offers corporate events and team building activities, too.
