Goodbye Christmas cookies, hello Samoas and Tagalongs. It’s Girl Scout cookie season, and a fifth grader from Denville is continuing to show of her marketing skills, creating another music video to entice customers to “Buy Buy Buy” from her troop.
Liliana Testa and her family filmed their fourth annual music video, “Pantry’s Empty (Buy Buy Buy),” based on *NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye,” last weekend after having an expected travel delay in Hatillo, Puerto Rico.
The 1-minute 42-second video shows her grandparents’ house in Puerto Rico, includes a cameo by her brother Calvin, has her replicating the dance moves from the popular *NSYNC video, even references the “6, 7” craze – and gives a shoutout to New Jersey Family, too!
The lyrics are:

Last year, Liliana and her dad Andrew filmed a video based on Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up,” cutely titled “Never Gonna Give Them (Cookies) Up.” She previously created “Cookies, Cookies” to the tune of Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York,” and “Cookie Hero” to the tune of Taylor Swift’s “Antihero.”
Liliana is a Junior Girl Scout with Troop 98238, and a fifth grader at a school in Denville. The music videos have helped her sell hundreds of cookie boxes over the years. She met her goal of selling just over 500 boxes last year, which meant she won two tickets to see “Aladdin” on Broadway (she took her dad to thank him for filming the videos). This year, Liliana’s goal is to sell 550 boxes. There’s a QR code at the end of the video to buy from her personal link.
