JURASSIC QUEST

If your kids love all things dino, you’ll want to make plans to see Jurassic Quest, the nation’s biggest and most realistic dinosaur exhibition coming to North Jersey this weekend.

The prehistoric creatures have visited Edison and Atlantic City before, but it’s the first time the traveling show is coming to the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus. Back in 2020 Jurassic Quest was a drive-thru experience at Met Life Stadium in 2020.

JURASSIC QUEST

Jurassic Quest is known for its life-like dinos and for having some of the largest rideable dinos in North America. The event also includes live dinosaur shows and interactive science and art activities such as a fossil dig. Kids can see real fossils like T-Rex teeth, a triceratops horn and even a life-size dino skull.

JURASSIC QUEST

This year, there will be more hands-on activities, including an expanded Excavation Station and more Jurassic-themed inflatables. Kids can meet the babies hatched at Jurassic Quest: Cammie the Camarasaurus, Tyson the T-Rex and Trixie the Triceratops.

Kids can face off with the super fast Utahraptors for Raptor Run races, and Rope-a-Raptor, where experienced “BrontoBusters” help kids lasso stray dinos to lead them back to their pens.

JURASSIC QUEST

There’s a video tour that features the star dino trainers Safari Sarah, Dino Dustin, Prehistoric Nick and Park Ranger Marty, all available onsite and on your phone via QR code.

JURASSIC QUEST

For the little ones, there’s Triceratots, a soft play area with bounce houses, inflatable attractions, photo ops and more. You can also embark with the kids on The Quest, which is an interactive scavenger hunt.

JURASSIC QUEST

The main draw of Jurassic Quest? For dino fans to walk through 165 million years of the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods to learn about the creatures that once ruled the land. Animatronic dinos include a 50-foot-long moving megalodon. Jurassic Quest works with leading paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur is painstakingly replicated in every detail and draws on the latest research about how we understand dinosaurs.

JURASSIC QUEST

Jurassic Quest will roar into the Meadowlands Expo Center, 355 Plaza Dr., Secaucus, June 7-9. Hours are 12-8 pm Friday, 9 am to 8 pm Saturday, and 9 am to 7 pm Sunday. Tickets start at $22. To save 15% off tickets, use code QUEST15 at jurassicquest.com.

JURASSIC QUEST

Jurassic Quest has virtual resources via YouTube where you can join the dino trainers as they celebrate Dino Day and Fossil Day with activities such as Dino Storytime, Show & Tell, fossil lessons and more. You can also access craft activities and an extensive Jurassic Quest dino directory.
