Mountain Creek Resort’s bike park will reopen this Thursday and Friday, June 4-5 with new social distancing protocols for the 2020 season.

The Vernon resort will open on Friday for season pass and triple play cardholders only, then to the general public on Saturday, June 6. Beginning Wednesday, June 3, visitors can purchase a limited number of daily lift tickets and rentals online. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there won’t be onsite sales.

In addition, new procedures also require riders to wear masks when not riding on the trails and keep to social distancing guidelines. When loading the Cabriolet Gondola, only one biker or family group will be allowed in each cabin. A full list of guidelines can be found here.

“The safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority at Mountain Creek,” said Hugh Reynolds, vice president of marketing and sales. “We’re confident that if everyone follows the proposed social distancing practices and adheres to the guidelines we have put into place, we can offer riders a safe and enjoyable experience on our trails this summer.”

The mountain boasts 53 trails for all abilities, including new riders. If you haven’t visited Mountain Creek before, check out the map and plan to hit the trails designated for new riders.

On weekends, the bike park will be open from 9 am-6 pm and daily operations are scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 18. Full day tickets cost $39.99 and afternoon tickets are $35.99.

Mountain Creek Resort is also home to the Great Gorge Golf course which opened earlier this month. All other attractions at the resort, which include the Mountain Creek Waterpark and TreEscape Aerial Adventure Rope Courses and Zip Tours are still closed.
