Theater-goers in Montclair can now wash down a handful of hot, buttery popcorn with a specially crafted ice cold beer.
Montclair Film is selling Montclair Film Director’s Cut Blood Orange IPA, a new brew created by New Jersey Beer Co. Try it during movie screenings at The Clairidge, Montclair Film StorySLAMs, and Montclair Improv Comedy nights.
In March, Montclair Film at The Clairidge LLC began selling beer, wine, cider and canned cocktails at its theater. All are sourced from New Jersey Beer Co., Ironbound Farm and Ciderhouse, Montclair Brewery and Opici distributors.
The Clairidge also started running a new trailer to run before films created by Gregor Clark and his marketing firm Hiker, to partner again with a local business.
The Clairidge is a six-screen, independent, art-house theater that typically shows independent, documentary and international films. It’s also known for BYOB – instead of beer, Bring Your Own Baby, which are designated times moms can bring their babies and kids and and watch a movie in a more relaxed, kid-friendly environment.
