The flipped learning trend has spreading internationally for some time now. Jon Bergmann presented the idea at the 2015 NJEA Teacher’s Convention in Atlantic City, receiving enthusiasm from Jersey teachers on the idea of letting kids watch video lectures at their own pace at home and using class time to work on hard material with their teachers. Bergmann explains to NJTV's Steve Adubato why students and educators alike feel that flipped learning is a better use of one-on-one time, and that videos resonate with what he calls the “YouTube Generation.”
