Jennifer Weiner Returns to Princeton with Her New Book ‘That Summer’

The Princeton Public Library is excited to welcome bestselling author Jennifer Weiner to the Princeton Shopping Center tomorrow night for a special in-person talk and singing of her latest book, That Summer.
Weiner first gave a reading in Princeton for her debut novel, 2001’s Good in Bed. The author has written 18 books and fans of her writing will enjoy this outdoor event in the courtyard that promises to be full of fun and good literature.
PRINCETON PUBLIC LIBRARY
“I’ve loved libraries all my life,” says Weiner. “Wherever I’ve traveled, they’ve been my second home. I have a special connection to the Princeton area — both the university and the town. The Princeton Public Library hosted one of the very first events I did, for my very first book, twenty years ago. Over the years they’ve done wonderful readings with me, and so many other great authors, both at the library and in the fabulous space at the shopping center and have built a real community between readers and writers. I couldn’t be happier about being back, in person!”
Weiner’s new book That Summer is “a story about surviving our pasts, confronting our futures, and the sustaining bonds of friendship.” Those in attendance will receive a signed copy of the book, as well as a special cool treat from Rita’s Water Ice. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here. The event which takes place outside, is “bring your own chair.”
