A Sinner’s Love Affair: Valentine’s Day Pop-Up Bar

There will be Valentine’s Day-themed decorations, signature holiday cocktails (like Love Potion or Cupid Shuffle) and festive desserts for Valentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day.

Kiss & Tell Pop-Up Bar
The Bistro at iPlay America, Freehold Twp.
This Valentine’s Day pop-up bar will be fully decorated, with special desserts and Cupid-approved cocktails (and mocktails). Visit after stopping at the arcade.

Galentine’s Day Tea
The Mathis House, Toms River
There are two seatings inside the beautiful Victorian house, where you can have afternoon tea along with a five-course meal. Tours are offered daily, and there is live music on the weekends.

Asbury Park Valentine’s Bazaar
Grand Arcade at Convention Hall, Asbury Park
Shop local and regional vendors selling goods and gifts handmade with love. There will be live music, food and drinks, a Valentine’s photo wall, a fresh flower bar, kids and pet activities, workshops and more.
February 8
Family Saturday: Galentine’s Day
Alice Paul Center for Gender Justice, Mount Laurel
Practice simple printmaking techniques to personalize your own Galentine’s Day card. See historical examples of valentines that suffragists used in their fight for the vote. There will be a presentation on the history of suffrage valentines.
Galentine’s Day Sip & Shop
Garden State Distillery, Toms River
Stop by for a tarot reading, and then shop wit hyour besties for jewelry, crystals, candles, handcrafted gifts, décor and more, while sipping on a craft drink.
Galentine’s Ladies Buffet
The Mathis House, Toms River
The Victorian tea room will open for a pre-Valentine’s Day dinner buffet for your gals.
Sweet Stroll
Downtown Red Bank
Wear Valentine’s Day colors as you walk through the downtown, visiting businesses for chocolate treats and discounts.
February 9
Galentine’s Brunch
Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas, Clifton
Brunch will be complete with a free glass of Rosé prosecco and a professional photographer to capture the memories. Shareables include lemony donut holes, breakfast pizza, a brunch board with eggs and bacon and Irish soda bread. Start with salad and then move on to Irish breakfast, corned beef hash and eggs, multi-grain avocado toast, Toad in the Hole, Gaelic breakfast sandwich and Shannon Rose frittata. Aside from the mimosas, you can order a Ketel One Botanicals mixed drink, various spritzes or martinis.

Moonstruck! Valentine’s Hike & Bonfire
New Weis Center, Ringwood
Grab your valentine (or bestie) for a full moon night hike. After going through the private trails after the sun goes down, you’ll gather around the bonfire for hot chocolate.
Valentine’s Day Cocktail Class
Baseline Social at Fort Monmouth, Oceanport
You’ll make three cocktails using Grey Goose, then make your own creations from the salad and french fry bars.
February 13
Galentine’s Day Chocolate Walk
Downtown Somerville
Your ticket gives you access to chocolate treats from all the participating businesses. There will be shopping discounts as well.
For the Girls: Galentine’s Day Party
The Hudson Rose, Nutley
The Harlow Room will be dressed up for Valentine’s Day, with live music, cocktail tastings, apps and snack stations, raffles, flowers, baked goods, vendors, tattoos, vintage clothing and tarot card readings.
Galentine’s Charm Bar + Candle-Making Event
MarketFair, Princeton
Make your own charm bracelet, design your own scented candle, sample desserts and mocktails, and fill up your goodie bag from the candy buffet.
Galentine’s Wine Tasting Celebration
PJ Clarke’s at The Curtis, Philadelphia, PA
Mother-daughter duo Nazaret Teclesambet and Favian Sutton (Wine Garden, Black Girl Magic Holiday Pop-up) and Sonia Blount (Kabila Events) are planning a night of friendship, wine, music and themed fun.
