The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced that general admission tickets will be free for Pro-Am Day, Wednesday May 10, at the Cognizant Founders Cup. The free tickets are courtesy of the New Jersey Golf Foundation (NJGF). During Pro-Am Day, the world’s best pro golfers will compete for a $3 million dollar purse, one of the largest outside the majors.

“The New Jersey Golf Foundation has been extremely generous to us since we arrived in the Garden State. Their mission of positively impacting lives and communities through the game of golf aligns with ours and is on display tournament week and beyond as they continue to provide accessibility for individuals from all backgrounds to experience our great sport,” said Scott Wood, Tournament Director, Cognizant Founders Cup.

The Pro-Am morning wave tees off from 7am – 9am, with the afternoon wave from 12:00pm – 1:50pm. Gates open at 6:45am and close at 6:30pm. Each respective group will feature one LPGA Tour professional on the front 9 with a second LPGA Tour professional joining the group on the back 9, so golf fans will have the opportunity to get close to the action.

The Cognizant Founders Cup will take place from May 10-14 at Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton. Visit Cognizant Founders Cup to purchase individual and week-long packages. General admission tickets, which provide access to the grounds any day Thursday through Sunday are $45, with a weekly 5-day pass available for $125.
