We’ve been hearing all week about snow coming this weekend, but the amount and the timing have all been changing. But now it looks like you might actually have to get out there and shovel.
Snow is predicted to arrive late tonight, and should fall until early morning. Looks like most areas of Central and Northern Jersey should get somewhere between 2-4 inches. Those of you in Southern Jersey should be spared the brunt of the snow, and get mostly rain.
The real problem is that the snow may turn to a brutal wintery mix, a combo of snow, sleet and freezing rain that could make travel on Saturday morning quite treacherous, so plan your activities accordingly.
A winter weather advisory is scheduled to start across the Southern and Central part of the state at 9 PM, and in the Northern counties at midnight.
