Jenkinson’s in Point Pleasant is a Jersey Shore staple. With so much to do, the choices can get overwhelming. Here are seven ways to maximize the fun on the boardwalk.
Try the “Play ‘Til You Win” Claw Machines
If you’ve ever blown a $5 bill on a claw machine only to come up with nothing, we feel your pain. Jenkinson’s “Play ‘Til You Win” machines, however, guarantee a prize. Once you pay $3 or $5 upfront, the machine ensures you’ll walk home with a prize.
Stop at the Jenkinson’s Sweet Shop
Food can get expensive on the boardwalk, but there’s sure to be something in your budget at the Sweet Shop. Candy apples, chocolates and gummies are all signature items and you can buy a quarter pound of gummies here for under $4.
Hit Up the Arcade
Go head-to-head in a basketball shootout, take a gamble on the Big Bass Wheel or try your luck with the slots in the Pavillion Arcade. Plan out your prize strategy ahead of time, too–do you want to aim for a few small prizes or pool everything together for a shot at a big reward?

Play Some Mini Golf
Jenkinson’s has two mini-golf locations: Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cove. Castaway Cove, an immersive pirate-themed course, is usually more crowded while Lighthouse Point is more convenient and closer to parking and bike racks.
Stop By the Candy Wheel at Pavilion Arcade
The Pavilion Arcade’s candy wheel is the perfect way to score some sweet and sour treats. Place quarters on playing card suits and try your luck in this game of chance. For just $1 or $2, you’ll get a shot at walking home with candy or a small prize.
Embrace the Rides
The Wave Swinger is a staple of the boardwalk and is perfect for kids and adults. The Seven Seas–formerly known as the Moby Dick–is another must-ride. The fast-paced rides take you high up and then back down again and the boardwalk view at the top is pretty awesome. For young kids, the train is a safe bet. And don’t miss the always fun Pendolo swing for all the dizzy boardwalk feels.
Watch a Free Movie or Concert on the Beach
There’s a full lineup during the summer of free concerts, movies, character meet-and-greets and fireworks that will entertain everyone in your crew. Bring a blanket or chairs, some yummy snacks and your camera.
And as any Jenks fan knows, the aquarium is a must, too. The top floor is closed for maintenance but stay tuned to the site for more updates.
