If you’re looking for a little winter fun that will get the whole family revved up, head to NYC and try Bumper Cars on Ice! This exciting spin on bumper cars opened at the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park January 13 and you can reserve a time to bump, slide and spin with friends and family from now through March 4.
Drivers must be age 7 and up to pilot these colorful, oversized tubes, and at least 42 inches tall and under 300 pounds. The cars are single person only so no kids on laps. You ride for 10 minutes, but you book your reservation within a one-hour window.
Stay the whole day at the Winter Village to have even more fun. You can ice skate or freestyle skate (bring your own equipment or rent skates), head to the Curling Cafe to practice this interesting Olympic sport or rent a cozy igloo for your group. There’s a bag check available for an additional fee so you don’t have to worry about your belongings while you play.
Bumper Cars on Ice is located at The Rink at Bank of America Village at Bryant Park, New York; enter on 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd streets. Hours are 2-8 pm Monday through Thursday, and 12-6 pm Friday through Sunday, through March 4. Tickets start at $20; reserve a date and time.
