Cape May is beautiful in the spring, with its white sandy beaches (which are free!) and historical Victorian homes. In May, you can take a garden tour and visit four sites with gorgeous flowers in bloom.

During the self-guided tour, you’ll take in the blooms and hopefully draw inspiration for your own garden. Areas include the Lovitz residence on Cape May Avenue, the Ruzzi residence on Vermont Avenue, and The Colonial House on Washington Street.

Then, stop by the Emlen Physick Estate on Washington Street, where you can walk through the gardens of the Victorian estate and museum, shop from local vendors, talk with Rutgers master gardeners, and have some free wine courtesy of Cape May Winery.

A trolley shuttle will be available.

The Gardens of Cape May Tour takes place on Saturday, May 10, from 1 to 4 pm. Tickets are $35 per person.
