Unlike any other, Skylands Museum of Art focuses on enchanting and imaginative international 20^th and 21^st century sculpture, paintings and illustrations. The permanent collection features over 300 works by leading artists including Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Leonor Fini, Brian Froud, Anne Bachelier, Brian Branch, Michael Parkes and Ailene Fields.

The three-floor museum presents the works by theme such as fairy tales, mythology, dragons, faces & flowers, the human psyche, and more. The Sanctuary Room is particularly peaceful. Special events and educational programs bring the fine art experiences to the community, inspiring viewers of all ages to be open to different perspectives and to create visual and written work themselves.
