At Progressive Neurology, Dr. Georges Ghacibeh offers comprehensive treatment plans for both children and adults along with Drs. Robert Connors and Pankaj Kakkar. “We’re a small, private practice and believe in a traditional approach to healthcare; we don’t overbook our schedule so we can spend a lot of time with patients who are always welcome to e-mail and text us,” says the father of two.
Board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, sleep medicine, epilepsy and EEG monitoring, Dr. Ghacibeh specializes in treating developmental disabilities, autism and epilepsy. Dr. Connors specializes in neuromuscular disorders and epilepsy, and Dr. Kakkar focuses on headache diagnosis and treatment. The practice conducts EEG testing in patients’ homes to put children at ease.
“We’re always open to exploring unconventional approaches to treatment,” says Dr. Ghacibeh, who completed a neurological residency at NYU and two fellowships at the University of Florida in behavioral neurology and epilepsy.
"Dr. Ghacibeh has an amazing way of interacting with my hesitant four-year-old boy, who we thought was having seizures. The doctor gave my son and myself all the time we needed to ask all the questions we had. He also made us laugh a lot through an intimidating process! My son doesn't like to go to see any doctor, but when we left, his first words were "Can we go see that doctor again?" Dr. Ghacibeh's entire staff was professional and considerate. I would recommend this neurologist to any parent who needs to take their child to one." -Leandra, Upper Saddle River
