A second-generation orthodontist, Dr. Richard Newman carries on a longstanding tradition of excellence in his 50-year-old private practice with offices in both Randolph and West Orange. Dr. Newman is proud to offer his patients a family-friendly, professional and compassionate environment.
Past president of the Essex County Dental Society, Dr. Newman earned his DMD from UMDNJ. He received his specialty certificate in orthodontics from Columbia University.
“We pride ourselves on creating a lifetime of beautiful smiles for generations of patients,” Dr. Newman says.
Today he serves as chief orthodontist of the New Jersey Institute of Craniofacial Surgery at St. Barnabas Medical Center, where he volunteers his time providing care for patients with cleft lip and palate problems. As chairman of Children’s Dental Health Month, Dr. Newman speaks to students at local schools about the importance of oral hygiene.
