Founder of Metro Pediatric Cardiology Associates, Dr. Donald Putman has an upbeat, engaging approach, and keeps visits stress-free for kids and their parents.

“We do a lot of talking. We’ve never had anyone complain that we didn’t answer their questions, or they didn’t have enough time with their physician,” says the board certified pediatric cardiologist.

The practice’s specialties include fetal cardiology, congenital heart disease, and acquired and suspected cardiac disease in children. Dr. Putman performs non-invasive studies, including in-office electrocardiograms and echocardiograms, and provides referrals for cardiac catheterization and pediatric cardiac surgery.

A father of three, Dr. Putman completed residency and fellowship at NYU. He is division chief of Pediatric Cardiology and medical director of the Matthew J. Morahan lll Health Assessment Center for Athletes/Cardiac Screening at Barnabas Health. He is excited that Joshua Dyme MD FACC will be joiningthe practice in January 2016.
