Board-certified in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Juliana Paternina strives to get patients back on their feet as soon as possible after an injury. With four NJ locations, the boutique practice provides personalized care in a compassionate environment. “I help my patients fully understand their condition, but also educate them on how to prevent it from happening again,” says Dr. Paternina, a mother of two. The cozy office has a friendly, approachable staff and is equipped with children’s entertainment. “We make kids feel welcome and keep visits as comfortable and pain-free as possible,” she says.

The practice utilizes state-of-the-art technology that allows for fast on-site diagnoses. Shockwave treatments are available for kids and teens impacted by sports injuries or recurring conditions such as tendinitis. Dr. Paternina is also highly trained in minimally-invasive surgery. Dr. Paternina attended Temple University and completed her residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, where she received pediatric specialty training.
