Drs. Archana Devi and Bernadette Lapena provide state-of-the-art pediatric dental care in a nurturing, compassionate environment. The paperless practice treats patients with cutting-edge dental equipment, such as digital X-rays and cameras with cavity detection technology, and has implemented COVID-19 safety measures including enhanced disinfecting protocols, spacing appointments, air purifiers and foggers. “We’re taking the necessary safety precautions, and encourage parents not to delay their child’s routine dental care,” says Dr. Devi, who received her DDS and specialty training in pediatric dentistry from NYU.

With a focus on prevention, the dentists use age-appropriate techniques and creative methods to keep patients engaged in their treatment. Drs. Devi and Lapena can treat patients with special needs or young children with extensive decay at RWJUH. “We want our patients to grow up to be adults who aren’t afraid of going to the dentist,” says Dr. Lapena, who received her DDS from NYU and pediatric dentistry training from Brookdale University Hospital and NYU.
