LuminoCity’s Dino Safari Festival has changed from prehistoric to spooky with new Halloween lanterns and displays.
You will still see the enormous, life-size, 50-foot-tall dinosaurs, but they’ll take on a ghostly glow.
There will be illuminated jack-o-lanterns, skeletons, tombstones, golden spiders and pumpkins surrounding the dinosaurs.
Dino Safari includes 11 areas of animatronic dinos; the Dinosaur Speedway, where you can race around a prehistoric track; Prehistorical Animal Art which are special light sculptures; and a Bounce Castle for kids.
LuminoCity Festival’s Dino Safari runs daily through November 5 at the Freehold Raceway Mall, 3710 Rte. 9, Freehold Twp.; also accessible from Rte. 537 West Main Street. The Halloween makeover goes through October 31. Admission tickets are only available online; you need to select a specific date at the time of purchase. Daytime tickets are valid from 3-7 p.m.; Sundays to Fridays cost $23 but Saturdays are $25. Nighttime tickets are valid from 7-9:30 p.m. and are $27 from Sunday to Friday or $29 on Saturdays.
