JCC MetroWest Summer Camps: Something for Everybody Offering something for everybody, the JCC MetroWest summer camp family includes an incredible selection of camp opportunities for ages 15 months-grade 12: Early Childhood Camp, Camp Deeny Riback, Triple Threat Theater Camp, One Week Exploration Camps, and Special Needs Programs. Early Childhood Camps Introduce your child to his or her first true camping experience, including weekly themes, instructional and free swim, organized sports such as tennis, soccer, t-ball, basketball, arts & crafts, daily kosher lunch, daily outdoor playground time, weekly Shabbat programs, and much more. Our caring, experienced staff forms a strong and competent team turning the summer into a memorable experience for your child. We offer 4, 6, 7 and 8 week programs for children ages 15 months to 5 years. Camp Deeny Riback Wooded 35 acre site in Flanders, NJ with 3 heated pools and over 30 activity areas. Campers enjoy a full athletics, aquatics, adventure, and arts programming experience including all sports, ropes challenge courses, lake site, drama, cooking, digital photography, Israel Program Center, mountain biking, ceramics, trips and overnights. Transportation and kosher lunch included (4, 6, 7, or 8 weeks for ages 3 ½- entering grade 10). Triple Threat Theater Camp Hands-on experience studying acting, voice, and dance with working professionals. Weekly theater trips to NYC and regional houses as well as on-site visits from some of the most creative forces in theater today. Each session culminates in a showcase performance. Swim/gym and relaxation time daily (3,4, or 7 week options for grades 4-12 in West Orange). Exploration Camps One week programs for grades K-6 in West Orange at the Leon & Toby Cooperman JCC. There’s a camp for every interest: crafts, cooking, science, art, and many more (8 weeks to choose from). Club JCC Summer Programs for Special Needs Camp Friends at Camp Deeny Riback–Maximizes the summer camp experience for each child by integrating him or her with a “shadow” counselor (4 or 8 weeks for pre-K-grade 6). Club JCC Summer–An in-house after school program designed for children who attend an extended school year (7 weeks for ages 5-10 in West Orange). Teen Tracks Travel–Daily trips and activities, as well as community volunteer services, social and communication skill development, and recreation activities (2, 4, or 8 weeks for ages 13-21).
