An immersive experience centered around bubbles that’s been a hit in Milan, Los Angeles, Brussels and London has finally arrived in New Jersey. The colorful interactive experience takes visitors through stunning landscapes and imaginary metaverses heavy on optical illusions and photo opps.
The experience has 8 uniquely themed rooms including a huge bubble bath ball pit, a virtual reality room, an undersea LED room, an endless infinity experience and a hot air balloon flight simulator. Creators say the combination of colors, lasers, lights and bubbles, along with 360-degree projection technology and a virtual reality experience, will have visitors channeling their inner child.
Organizers say immersive experiences like these continue to be popular thanks to a ‘kidulting’ trend, which is exactly what it sounds like (i.e. we love diving into a bubble ball pit just as much the kids). This experience also promises lots of oversized bubbles, balloons and soap.
The bubble experience is co-produced by Exhibition Hub, a company that produces traveling immersive experiences, in partnership with Fever. The duo also produced the uber-popular Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience.
Bubble Planet is now open at American Dream (1 American Dream Way in East Rutherford). The experience takes about 60-90 minutes to walk through. It’s open to all ages but kids under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets start at $26.90 for adults and $18.90 for children.
