BAND-AID has just announced it will do its part to help promote diversity and inclusivity. The company announced on Instagram last week that the popular bandages will soon come in more diverse skin tones colors. In the announcement, BAND-AID wrote that it’s “committed to launching a range of bandages in light, medium and deep shades of Brown and Black skin tones that embrace the beauty of diverse skin.”

The announcement comes in light of recent protests against systemic racism and calls for more inclusivity in the United States and across the world.

In the same post, BAND-AID announced the company will make a donation to the Black Lives Matter Movement to help in the fight against systemic racism. In a statement at the start of the month, Alex Gorsky, chairman and CEO of BAND-AID’s parent company Johnson & Johnson, pledged that the company would donate $10 million over three years towards “fighting racism and injustice in America.”

BAND-AID has not yet announced when the new bandage colors will be arrive on store shelves.

BAND-AID isn’t the first company to sell bandages in diverse skin tones. Founded in 2014, Tru-Colour sells bandages and sports tape in four skin tone shades that can be purchased online or at Target. Browndages sells packages of assorted bandages that come in four darker skin tones and can be purchased online. They have options for both kids and adults.
