Been waiting for Babies “R” Us’ annual Great Trade-In event? Great news, this year it’s bigger and better than ever, with even more opportunities to score discounts.
Here’s how it works: This year’s Greater Trade-In event will collect used, damaged and dangerous items in exchange for a serious discount from February 16 through March 18. What makes this year different from the past eight? Not only will Babies “R” Us be collecting gear and furniture, but this time around the chain will also be collecting clothing.
Babies “R” Us is working with local charities to help clothe less fortunate children (so you’re also helping a great cause!). Whether you trade in an old dress or onesie, you’ll get 25 percent off your entire purchase of clothing. If you’re a loyalty member, your access to the Trade-In event begins February 11.
Another bonus? Cribs and toddler mattresses have been added to the list of acceptable gear and furniture. If you donate old gear or furniture, you’ll receive a 25 percent discount on one gear or furniture item. If you have an “R” Us credit card, your discount gets bumped to 30 percent.

Can’t donate any clothing, gear or furniture? You can still get a 15 percent discount on any one piece of gear or furniture on babiesrus.com. In store, shoppers will get a 15 percent discount on one baby item.
What if your local Babies R Us is closing? Any stores undergoing liquidation will offer customers a 25 percent coupon on their trade-in, which can be used at any other participating Babies “R” Us or on the store’s website.
