We’re Craving a Bagel Flight at This NJ Spot

A flight of mini bagels with flavored cream cheeses? Yes, please.

We love beer and wine flights, and most definitely coffee flights, but have you heard about a bagel flight? A bagel shop in Passaic County is sampling its bagels with cream cheeses so you don’t have to choose your bagel flavor.

Carlos’ Hand Rolled Bagel Shop in Hawthorne offers a mix of four mini bagels: choose from plain, French toast, sesame seed and everything. Choose four spreads to match, like vegetable, chocolate chip, walnut raisin or even a vegan spread.

Their other bagels range from plain, pumpernickel and whole wheat everything to multigrain oat, raisin French toast and jalapeno cheddar. They make specialty bagels for the holidays that come in all different colors; St. Patty’s Day is their next unique creation.

Top them with butter or cream cheese, or try peanut butter and jelly, bacon and cream cheese or lox.

This isn’t just a breakfast spot (they also serve breakfast sandwiches, omelets and more). Come back for lunch, and you’ll find burgers, salads and sandwiches on the menu, plus smoothies and fresh juices.

And of course, what bagel shop is complete without a coffee bar?

Carlos’ Hand Rolled Bagel Shop is located at 438 Lafayette Ave. in Hawthorne. Hours are 6 am to 3 pm on weekdays and 7 am to 2 pm on weekends.
