The museum’s first-ever Breakfast & Dino Egg Hunt will send kids on a prehistoric hunt for colorful “dinosaur” eggs. They’ll get to meet Bunnysaurus for a photo and decorate their own picture frame for their Bunnysaurus photo. There will also be wooden egg decorating and rainbow scratch art.

The activities are aimed at kids ages 1 to 10, and families are welcome to join.

The catered breakfast includes mini bagels, assorted breads, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt pouches, coffee, juice and water.

Breakfast & Dino Egg Hunt with Bunnysaurus will be held on March 22 and 29, from 8 to 10 am on both days. Tickets are $50 per person, general admission, for both the event and admission to the museum; tickets are $35 for Gold & Silver Members, or $40 for Bronze & Legacy Members.

While you’re visiting, check out the exhibits inside the museum, like the theater, skeletons, lifelike replicas, storyboards geared toward preschoolers, the Discovery Forest exploration area, and a virtual reality game.

Then walk down to the quarry, where you can hunt for real fossils, like shark teeth, turtle shells and dinosaur bones that originated along the East Coast dating back 66 million years; or bring the kids to the pteranodon-shaped playground.

The Jean & Ric Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University is located at 66 Million Mosasaur Dr., Mantua Twp.
