Kick the weekend off at The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum with your little STEM thinkers. Better yet, go on the house!

Free Fridays at this Manhattan gem start on April 26 from 5-9 pm. All visitors get in free, and can enjoy a sneak peek at the A-1 Skyraider on the flight deck, take on an interactive experience at the Intergalactic Travel Bureau (think space tourism and vacations). Other features include a beer and wine bar for grown-ups and 21-and-over presentations in the Space Shuttle Pavilion.

The Intrepid is located on Pier 86 at 46th St. and 12th Ave. in New York City. The schedule will change for every Free Friday (keep an eye out for telescope viewings of the night sky or movies on the flight deck!). Free Fridays will happen on select evenings through October.
