A new entertainment complex featuring the world’s largest indoor go-kart track is set to open this fall in Edison. Supercharged Entertainment, which operates a similar center in Wrentham, Massachusetts, says the NJ track will be even bigger (“28 percent larger”) than their MA track with four lanes for racing and 10 elevation changes. It’s sure to be a fun spot for kids (and parents) with a need for speed!
The new complex, which is 131,000 square feet, is being built on Route 1 in Edison next to the popular Topgolf, and is sure to be another fun family spot. Based on the info for the MA location, racers must be 58 inches tall and there are certain safety measures in place including mandatory viewing of a safety video. Participants must also wear a headsock and helmet.
In addition to go-karts, the entertainment complex will also offer “luxury axe-throwing,” “bionic bumper cars,” an arcade with over 140 games, virtual reality and a two-story Drop & Twist Tower. Burgers & Brews restaurant will be on-site, too, for the appetite you’re sure to work up after all those adrenaline rushes.
While an opening date has not yet been announced, you can follow Supercharged Entertainment on Instagram for the latest news and updates.
