If you’re one of the many World Cup fans who’d love to see a match at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford but can’t deal with the high ticket prices, there’s some good news. FIFA is offering a new, lower-priced ticket option designed specifically for loyal supporters.

With more than 20 million ticket requests already submitted, FIFA has introduced a new Supporter Entry Tier, offering tickets at a fixed price of $60 for any of the World Cup’s 104 matches, including the final.

These lower-priced tickets will be distributed through each country’s football association, meaning fans apply through their national team rather than directly through FIFA. Each association will manage its own eligibility and selection process, with FIFA encouraging them to prioritize dedicated supporters with strong ties to their teams.

Put simply, each qualifying country will receive a set number of tickets to distribute to fans and half of those tickets will be in the most affordable price ranges. Ten percent will be reserved for the new $60 Supporter Entry Tier, while another 40 percent will be offered through the Supporter Value Tier, which also falls on the lower end of the pricing scale. The remaining tickets will be split between standard and premium supporter options.

The goal is to give loyal fans a real chance to buy affordable tickets. But with historic demand (20 million ticket requests have already been received!) competition will still be fierce to secure a chance to but the affordable tickets. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The two more affordable supporter tiers will be available for all eight matches at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford:

  • Saturday, June 13, 2026: Brazil vs. Morocco (Group C)
  • Tuesday, June 16, 2026: France vs. Senegal (Group I)
  • Monday, June 22, 2026: Norway vs. Senegal (Group I)
  • Thursday, June 25, 2026: Ecuador vs. Germany (Group E)
  • Saturday, June 27, 2026: Panama vs. England (Group L)
  • Tuesday, June 30, 2026: Round of 32
  • Sunday, July 5, 2026: Round of 16
  • Sunday, July 19, 2026: FIFA World Cup 26â„¢ Final

In an informal ranking by Live Football Tickets, MetLife Stadium ranked as the second most iconic stadium set to host the 2026 World Cup. The ranking analyzed fan reviews, social media buzz, capacity, and architectural design across all host venues. AT&T Stadium in Texas claimed the top spot. MetLife leads all stadiums in social media buzz, with 330,000 Instagram hashtags, but with a slightly smaller capacity (82,500 seats) compared to AT&T, it narrowly missed first place.

As for tickets, fans applying through their national associations whose teams don’t advance to the knockout phase will also have administrative fees waived on refunds, making this a lower-risk way to try for tickets.

The current Random Selection Draw for tickets is open through January 13, 2026, at 11 a.m. ET, and FIFA says it doesn’t matter when you submit your request during that window. Everyone has the same chance. Full details and entry information are available at FIFA.com/tickets.
