A Michigan woman who posted a random ultrasound photo on Facebook along with a diatribe on how it's inappropriate to ask people about their baby plans probably didn't quite expect what happened next.

Freelance writer Emily Bingham, 33, urged people to stop asking newly married couples, those with one child already and single 30-something women when they're going to have kids.

"People's reproductive and procreative plans and decisions are none of your business. NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS," she writes, explaining the ultrasound picture she found in a Google search was to get their attention. "Please stop. You don't know who is struggling with infertility or grieving a miscarriage or dealing with health issues. …You don't know who has decided it's not for them right now, or not for them ever."

Bingham told ABC News she did the post after her boyfriend's family teased her about having children.

"My goal was to kind of make people aware of how many different experiences people might be having and step back and let them decide if they want to share for themselves if they want to have kids," she said.

Bingham says she has been on the receiving end of those questions (she isn't married or a mom) and has also been one to ask them herself. She was inspired by a friend who struggled with infertility for a year before getting pregnant with her son and is now being barraged by baby number two questions since his birth.

Her September 20 post now has 68,461 shares and counting, and started the trending hashtag #noneofyourbusiness.
