Taylor Swift fans are in a frenzy this week, either sneaking their phones at school to put in a presale offer code on Ticketmaster (the company said millions of fans tried getting tickets at once in “historically unprecedented demand” on Tuesday) or doing extra chores around the house to pay for tickets to The Eras Tour (prices started at $49 but are currently ranging from $300+).
We know getting these tickets is next to impossible, so if your little Swifties are obsessed with anything Taylor Swift, here are some fun alternatives to keep them dancing until “Midnights.”
To get your Swift fix, The Vogel in Red Bank is hosting a Taylor Swift-Inspired Dance Party this Saturday. It’ll be the next best thing to a live concert, singing and dancing to your favorite Taylor tunes. There will be a costume contest, drink specials, trivia and photo wall areas. Fans of all ages are welcome to party!
Liberty Science Center in Jersey City will present a Taylor Swift Laser Show from Dec. 22 – Jan. 1 inside the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium. Tickets are limited, so make sure you don’t crash the LSC site, either!
If your kids are looking for merch as holiday gifts, Swift is selling plenty of album-themed sweatshirts, hoodies and T-shirts on her site, plus music products and accessories. If you prefer handmade items, Etsy has some great posters, canvas totes, license plate frames and jewelry so you can rep your favorite singer nonstop.
And if you were lucky enough to score tickets … please tell us how you did it! Tickets are on sale via Vivid Seats or StubHub for the shows Memorial Day Weekend, May 26 – 28, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford – though the resale value is $300+ already. You could also try her May 12 – 14 concert dates at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
