Von Thun Farms has an all-new springtime attraction: for the first time, the Washington Twp. location will bloom with hundreds of thousands of tulips that will be available to pick and view.

Farmers planted 250,000 tulip bulbs in November, going row by row with a tulip planter. Depending on the weather, the tulips should be in bloom from around April 18 through May 7, with tulip festivals planned every weekend. You can take photos in the fields, visit the farm animals, meet Hope the Highland Cow, pick your favorite colored flowers, and shop in the farm market.

Tulip Festival Weekends will mimic the popular summer and fall festivals, with more than 25 activities in the play area for kids, food trucks, the hayride, a snack shack, and a beer barn by Invertase Brewing Company.
Tentative dates are April 18 to May 7, with the festivals on Saturdays and Sundays during that time, at the Washington Twp. Farm, 438 Rte. 57 W., Warren County. Tickets will be available online or at the gate. FLEX Tickets for $14.99 are available now, and can be used on any weekday or during the weekend festivals. Tulips were not planted at the South Brunswick location. Follow Instagram for updates.
