LEGOLAND NEW YORK RESORT

If you’re a true LEGO maniac, a night at the only LEGO-themed hotel in the Northeast needs to be on your must-visit list. The hotel is opening this summer, with bookings starting August 6th.

The LEGOLAND New York theme park, which opened at the end of May, is a doable day trip from most of north and central New Jersey. But this exciting new addition will give you an option for holiday breaks and long weekends at the Goshen, NY location.

The fun starts as soon as visitors arrive at the hotel entrance, where they’ll come face-to-face with a fire-breathing dragon! Once you get past the winged beast, check out the more than 2,000 LEGO models located throughout the hotel.

There are 250 LEGO-themed guestrooms on site, each with decor inspired by LEGO® Friends, LEGO Pirates, or LEGO® NINJAGO®. Rooms feature bunk beds, trundles and separate sleeping areas for the kiddos to hang out.

A special feature of the new resort is contactless programming, which means that rooms will contain a Google Nest named Alice who will make it easy to place a room service order and can even send your gang on an in-room scavenger hunt or tell them a bedtime story.

And out of your room, you can enjoy a daily free breakfast at Bricks Family Restaurant before heading to the park. At the hotel, guests can enjoy visits from LEGO characters, scavenger hunts with LEGO prizes or creative workshops that allow children to build their own LEGO creations with the help of “Master Model Builders.” During the summer months, hit the heated outdoor resort-style pool.

For any parents who need a break, the Skyline Bar is conveniently located in the hotel and offers drinks and “light bites” that you can enjoy while the kids play on the nearby lobby’s enormous castle structure.

Bookings are available through the LEGOLAND website and you can reserve your day pass to the park or an overnight visit to the hotel here.
