We’re big fans of Topgolf, the next-level driving range complete with hi-tech hitting bays, microchipped golf balls, specialty cocktails and restaurants. The popular national chain is rumored to be coming to Bergen County.
There’s no sign of an open date, but Top Golf’s third NJ location is said to be opening at the Maywood Commons on Rte. 17 N on 27 acres where the former Sears distribution center once was, according to Boozy Burbs. Topgolf was also approved for a liquor license by the Maywood Mayor and Council at a council meeting on December 17.
If and when it opens, you’ll be able to take the kids there for tournaments, lessons or some rainy day fun. Until then, tee off at locations in both Edison and Mount Laurel. Both you and the kids will love that each ball you hit tracks the distance and accuracy of your swing. The bays are climate controlled and heated, so you can hit the green any time of year.
