There’s a farm in North Jersey that’s offering you a holiday experience with the animals.
Brookhollow’s Barnyard is filled with holiday cheer for its Barnyard Under the Stars, including a 5-minute holiday train ride around the garden. Thomas the Train can fit up to 15 people, so bring the kids and their cousins along. There are lots of colorful lights along the path.
If you want to feed the animals, you can buy some carrots on the farm.
BROOKHOLLOW’S BARNYARDThere are also lots of fun photo ops on the grounds. Although the playsets and sandboxes won’t be open during the light show, you can come back in the spring for more fun on the farm – including a 15-minute tractor ride around the farm and more animal encounters.
Brookhollow’s Barnyard is located at 301 Rockaway Valley Rd., Boonton. Barnyard Under the Stars is open from 4-7:30 pm Fridays and Saturdays through December 28. Barnyard admission is $7.50 for everyone ages 2 and up. You can purchase tickets at the farm. If you’d like to add on the train ride, it’s $3 per person. You can get carrots for an additional fee.
