Hammonton takes its blueberries seriously. Nicknamed “the Blueberry Capital of the World,” the town hosts an annual festival celebrating one of the Garden State’s superfruits.

It’ll be a “berry” good time at the Red, White and Blueberry Festival. Jumpstart your day brunching at the Kiwanis Blueberry Pancake Breakfast from 7 am to 12 pm. Browse the wares of a variety of food vendors and crafters. If you’re up for a lot of eating, wear your yoga pants and sign up for the blueberry pie eating contest on the main stage.

Hang by the stage for a day filled with entertainment, including a mini concert by Stealing Savannah, a local rock ‘n’ roll and dance group. There will be deejay sets, too. The kids can ride on kiddie amusement rides, catch air on inflatable bouncers and get creative with arts and crafts. Bring your little hotrod lovers to the car show, featuring cruisin’ classic wheels from around the area.

Stop by on Sunday, June 25 from 10 am to 4 pm to see (and taste!) all things blueberry. The festival takes place on the grounds of Hammonton High School and offers free shuttles and free parking for visitors.
