Has your kid always dreamed of being on TV? The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is giving science-loving kids a shot to be on his show thanks to a new STEM competition for kids.
In partnership with Camp Invention, a program run by the non-profit National Inventors Hall of Fame, young inventors are invited to send a video entry showing off their working model or prototype. If your kid is selected as the winning inventor, she’ll win an all-expenses paid trip to NYC (we know it’s local but a Big Apple paid hotel stay would be pretty awesome, right?) and some airtime on The Tonight Show. Amazing.
Here are the specs for entering:

Film a 60-second video of your kid (ages 5-18) including his or her name, age, hometown, invention name and a demonstration of his or her super cool creation.

Upload the video to YouTube, then email the link to Camp Invention at tonightshow@invent.org and The Tonight Show at davidtonightshow@gmail.com.

In the email, include the inventor’s name, age and hometown, the name of the invention, the name, phone number and email of a parent or guardian, any awards or media attention the invention has earned and a brief explanation of why the invention differs from what’s already on the market.
