Oh, the things we do for our kids. Like gain 30 pounds to birth them. Or move to the ‘burbs. Or bring them to a One Direction concert. Tonight 1D heads back to MetLife Stadium for their Jersey show, so we're bringing you an ode to the chaperones, the dutiful dads, who’ve been somehow roped into taking their ecstatic youngling to what may be their very first concert. VICE West Coast editor and photographer Jamie Taete captured these priceless images and we couldn’t resist the chance to give you a glimpse of what may be going on inside their heads.
So glad I brought these earplugs. If I stay standing, maybe she won’t notice if I sneak in a quick nap in before the encore.
