If you are a child of the ’80s or if you’re waiting for the new 2022 film so you can introduce your kids, you won’t want to miss the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) limited-engagement museum exhibit at Liberty Science Center.
Known as the “heroes in a half-shell,” Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Donatello will share life lessons and team-building skills with their crime-fighting tactics in “Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secrets of the Sewer,” which opened Sept. 24. You’ll be transported to the underground home of the Turtles where you’ll get to see what happens in their secret hideaway.
There will be lots of team-building challenges where you and your family can work together while having fun. Build a bridge and navigate the rope bridge. Assemble two electrical circuit puzzles by taking one apart to build another. Practice Ninja speed and slicing skills while playing a dexterity-based computer game. Practice your balance on skateboards. Create a sewer pipe together and see where it goes.
The exhibit is open through Jan. 16, 2023. Liberty Science Center is located at 222 Jersey City Blvd., Jersey City. The exhibition is free with admission to LSC.
