For more than 40 years, board-certified pediatric dentist Dr. Irvin B. “Our practice is busy, and we think that speaks for itself,” he says. “We pride ourselves on providing a high level of care to patients of all ages.”
Dr. Sherman’s team blends personalized care and cutting-edge technology with continuing education to offer a dental experience that’s interactive and fun for kids. Laser dentistry and digital scanners and X-rays ensure pain-free appointments, while video games and televisions keep kids relaxed and entertained.
“When children start to relax in the chair, I know I’ve done my job,” he says. “If kids have positive experiences with the dentist from a young age, they won’t be afraid of going to the dentist as they get older.”
A Lifetime of Healthy Smiles
Dr. Sherman established the Jersey Shore Center for Breastfeeding and Infant Oral Health and offers a frenectomy procedure using laser therapy. He has lectured on all aspects of pediatric dentistry and donates his time to nonprofit organizations that benefit underprivileged children.
“Our goal is to make kids feel comfortable and safe and provide them with a dental home,” he says.
