“Allen has been the cornerstone of our blended family since 2014. We first met Allen when my husband received emergency custody of his then 10 month old son. Allen was integral in helping us understand the law and parameters of custody so that we could maintain custody of our son. Allen won our case on 12/3/2014 and we have been the custodial family of our son for nearly last last decade. Allen was knowledgeable, sharp and didn’t tell us what we wanted to hear, but rather the reality of our unique situation. Additionally, Allen was our guiding light during a different matter with my husbands biological daughter and ex wife. (Different mother from above). This case was your typical “custody war”; complete with false allegations, child support calculations, mediation for parenting time and the adversary from hell. We knew that Allen would not let us falter. For three years through a global pandemic, Allen advocated for not only my husband , his client, but our whole family. Allen was passionate and precise, stern and matter of fact. Allen saw us through multiple post judgement matters with insight that only he could provide. That being said, on September 1st, 2023 my husband was awarded sole legal custody of his 15 year old daughter. Allen put us on this path and saw us through until the end. It is no doubt in our mind that Allen was the sheer force holding our “not so typical” blended family together. He often joke and ask our selves “WWSD” , “What would Scaz do”, as we lovingly refer to him in our family, when a co parenting situation would come up. We call him the “chairman of our board”, because without his expertise, positive attitude and ability to advocate for even the toughest clients, we would not have our family intact today. We do not make any decisions regarding our children without asking Allen’s opinion first. Allen is truly an amazing attorney, but an even more amazing human being. That’s what sets him apart. Allen litigates as a human first and a lawyer second. It is this ability to put himself in his clients shoes is something most attorneys lack; Allen sees us as people, not as clients, as family. Allen is our family and the only reason we are as strong and united as we are today.”
